Brunch Burger Blue Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Weber® Flavour Bomb Burger Seasoning
  • 4 slices Texas toast
  • 1/2 cup melted butter, divided
  • Lettuce, tomato and red onion slices
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup blue cheese salad dressing

Directions

  1. Mix ground beef and 1 ½ tablespoons seasoning in a medium mixing bowl. Form into 4 patties. Set aside.
  2. Brush both sides of Texas toast with melted butter; toast slices on preheated grill. Transfer to serving plate. Top with slices of lettuce, tomato and onion.
  3. Grill burgers over direct medium heat (350° to 450°F) with the lid closed as much as possible, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F for medium, 12 to 15 minutes, turning once.
  4. Place cooked burgers on toast slices.
  5. Heat remaining butter in large skillet over medium heat.
  6. Break eggs into pan. Break yolk, if desired. Sprinkle lightly with remaining 1 ½ teaspoons seasoning.
  7. Turn each egg over when egg is firm.
  8. Top each burger with cooked egg.
  9. Drizzle ½ cup blue cheese dressing over each burger.
  10. Serve immediately.
